I’m launching this blog to document my journey as a modern “umma” (mom in Korean), sharing insights and lessons learned as I navigate this new role with the perspective of a Korean American.

While my primary goal is personal reflection, I hope my experiences can resonate with and support other ummas, moms, mamas, madres, and so on as we build a village together.

I’m a new mom to a young toddler, with plans to expand our family. In my previous life, I spent over 10 years working in high-end fashion in NYC, but now I’m based in Austin, TX.
